Personally, I need to be able to trust in the capabilities of my own outdoor gear, and I expect to find those same standards in the outdoor gear my pup, Thunder, uses. This new harness/daypack provides that added measure of safety and peace of mind. And in addition, it is still the only waterproof and ultralight pack on the market.

Many people have the joy of living between two different residences in two different states and it can be a wonderful experience. One thing that can make it a bit more complicated is owning a pet, but it can be done, you just need to do your research.

A healthy lifestyle is paramount in building and maintaining a happy balance for you and your pet. Diet and regular exercise are just as important for your pup as they are for you. However, many people are under the misconception that living and eating healthily costs more than living the average lifestyle. The truth is that while making healthy choices can be expensive, you can live a healthy lifestyle without breaking the budget.

This pack had it all: it was now highly reflective after using reflective tape along the whole perimeter of the pack in addition to the two reflective stripes, the straps along the shoulder were maximally adjustable ensuring proper fit for a wide range of dog sizes and shapes, and furthermore, everything looked good.

Families and individuals looking forward to some outdoor summer recreation should not forget to protect themselves and their pets against bug bites — tick bites in particular. It’s not just that finding a tick latched onto you is gross and the bite painful or uncomfortable — getting bitten by a tick can pose real dangers for both humans and animals. So it’s important to know what your risks are, and what to do to prevent the likelihood of a bite.

Keep in mind that dogs aren’t meant to carry heavy loads, and their physique and preference for trotting/running gaits already put them at a disadvantage. With that in mind, anything that I cannot fit into my pup’s pack, I will happily pack myself. I would much rather take the added weight myself than risk hurting Thunder dog, especially now that he’s getting up there in age.
