Who is DOGPAK?
We are a family-owned outdoor K9 gear and content company inspired by the nostalgia of my own personal travels around the globe with my pup Thunder. After 12 years, 46 States, 30 countries, and 2 transcontinental motorcycle rallies with old Thunder, I realized that my most endearing memories with my pup came from those unforgettable adventures we shared together—the kinds of journeys that don't always seem fun in the moment but have a tendency to shine in retrospect as we regale our friends over a campfire with stories that combine suspense and laughter, snorts and tears in equal parts—the kinds of memories built from a questionable unfolding of comedy and mishap, moonlit nights and misty mornings, missed switchbacks and rain soaked shoes, tall tales that grow in zeal and zest with each passing year and each retelling over a campfire on a mountain side somewhere beneath the stars. We are purveyors of type II fun and full-belly laughs on empty stomachs after long days and many miles. DOGPAK was inspired by the same kinds of adventures we hope to inspire in you. Our mission is to help other people develop the same kind of bond with their pups by making it easier to get outdoors together. We are excited to be presenting our first product: the Moab Lite daypack! Be sure to subscribe to stay updated and to receive some helpful content about adventuring with our dogs!

The Evolution of the Moab Lite Dog Backpack: Progression of Prototypes
This pack had it all: it was now highly reflective after using reflective tape along the whole perimeter of the pack in addition to the two reflective stripes, the straps along the shoulder were maximally adjustable ensuring proper fit for a wide range of dog sizes and shapes, and furthermore, everything looked good.
Ticks and Tick Bites: Critical Information for You and Your Pets
Families and individuals looking forward to some outdoor summer recreation should not forget to protect themselves and their pets against bug bites — tick bites in particular. It’s not just that finding a tick latched onto you is gross and the bite painful or uncomfortable — getting bitten by a tick can pose real dangers for both humans and animals. So it’s important to know what your risks are, and what to do to prevent the likelihood of a bite.
A Case for a Smaller Capacity Dog Backpack
Keep in mind that dogs aren’t meant to carry heavy loads, and their physique and preference for trotting/running gaits already put them at a disadvantage. With that in mind, anything that I cannot fit into my pup’s pack, I will happily pack myself. I would much rather take the added weight myself than risk hurting Thunder dog, especially now that he’s getting up there in age.
